Wake Shop Manager
Wake Shop Managers are responsible for the overall performance of the Wake Shop at their One Water store. They are passionate about delighting internal and external customers and achieving or exceeding their volume and profit goals through assisting customers in their buying decisions.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDuties (Most Important to Least Important)
- Maintains neat and orderly displays, with accessories and supplies well merchandised to present a professional appearance and increase sales.
- Establish and maintain boating accessory and clothing order process that achieves department goals for margins by overseeing boating accessories purchase and return processes and effectively trains Wake Shop Specialists.
- Identifies the customer needs and fulfills them by helping customers select the best watersports and/or accessory solutions, including demonstration of their proper use.
- Finalizes accessories transactions by properly closing each sale with accurate paperwork, including using suggestive selling of accessories that benefit the customer.
- Build and maintain positive customer and manufacturer relationships to strengthen customer loyalty, reduce order times and enhance dealer reputation. Resolves customer complaints or concerns in a timely manner and always looks for ways to better serve our customers.
- Ensures accuracy of inventory, controls shrinkage and obsolescence.
- Maintains a clean, safe and environmentally friendly work environment. Stays current on legal, safety and recall information to protect all parties.
- Supports in the execution of successful Boat Shows, Store and Off-site sales/customer events, including accessory sales as appropriate
- All other duties as assigned.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a sales team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Ability to use a computer
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of wake sports, boating equipment, and related products is preferred
