The Sales Project Manager works cooperatively with other members of the team to introduce and sell products and services to new and established customers as well as service existing accounts.
Sales Project Managers introduce and sell our products and services to new and established customers by making cold calls both in person and on the phone, following up on leads,maintaining contact with past customers, fostering relationships and in other interactions.
The Sales Project Manager does not just quote the customer and close thesale,they follow the job through completion to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
This position requires a hunter attitude and a strong drive to win.
- Identifying, contacting, and qualifying new prospects.
- Responding to customer calls.
- Tracking and following up on existing quotes.
- Assistingwithproject execution tasks such as answering questions about administration, delivery, or invoicing. Ensure project completion accurately,timelyand on budget.
- This position requires a large volume of outbound, cold calls, and cold calling physical locations.
- Revenue quotaexpectationsare met as assigned.
- Turns in required documentstimelyto ensure job tracking is accurate.
- Prepare andsubmitactivity reports and forecasts as requested.
- Update andmaintainsthe CRM database to include but not be limited to customer account contact names, address, phone numbers, email addresses, past and future sales activities, andany and allnotesregardingthe account’s business opportunity.
- Maintain all prospective customer data in the CRM Database and use the informationcontainedthereinas the sole source for prospective customers and interactions.
- Stays within prescribed budgetary cost requirements.
- Communicatesfrequentlywith the customer.
- Maintainsasafeworkenvironment.
- Performsjobfunctionssafelyatalltimes.
- Participatesinallsafetymeetings.
- Communicatesallconcernsorviolationstoappropriatemanager(s) immediately.
- Uses the proper Personal Protective Equipment when performing work duties.
- Employee wearsthepropershoes,glasses,gloves,ear protection,etc.
- Employeeisproperlyattiredto perform their job safely (no loose-fitting clothes, unsafe jewelry, etc.).
- Disposesofwasteproperly.
- Abidesbyalllocal,state,and Federal laws;reads,understands,andagreestofollowthe policies outlined in the Company Safety Manual and Company Handbook.
- Demonstratesbehaviorsalignedwithour Core Valuesatalltimes .
- Continuous Improvement Assistsindrivingacontinuousimprovementstrategywithinthebusinesstoresultin ongoing incremental gains in quality and efficiency.
- Performsotherrelateddutiesasassigned.
