Job Overview

As a Cosmetic Sales Colleague, you are the trusted beauty expert our customers turn to for all things beauty. You provide expert advice, product demonstrations, and personalized consultations to meet each customer’s needs and build lasting relationships while driving sales.

• Greet customers, maintain sales floor cleanliness, and ensure merchandise is organized.
• Review sales goals, new arrivals, and promotional materials before opening.
• Engage customers with a warm welcome, eye contact, and friendly conversation.
• Maintain shoppable space, refresh signage, and assist with merchandise moves.
• Share Loyalty program benefits, complete transactions, and end with a sincere thank‑you.
• Support teammates with honesty, care, and collaboration.
• Continuously improve service, achieve sales goals, and learn from each other.

• Deliver personalized beauty experiences by building relationships, uncovering customer needs, demonstrating product application, and educating on benefits.
• Drive sales and client loyalty by keeping a clean, organized space, using clienteling tools, and participating in sales events.
• Meet and surpass daily sales goals through exceptional service.
• Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits.
• Use point‑of‑sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions.

• Flexible availability – days, evenings, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Effective communication with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Ability to read employment policies and safety rules in English.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service or sales experience.
• Strong product knowledge and ability to stay current on trends.
• Proactive clienteling and follow‑up skills.

• Talking, lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.
• Standing ≥2 consecutive hours, lifting ≥25 lbs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, reaching above eye level.
• Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Frequent use of computers, handheld equipment, and POS register.
