We have been in business for over 35 years and offer competitive pay scales, health benefits, 401k, and paid time off. Hours Monday‑Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Immediate start date.
Job Responsibilities- Train to perform coaxial splicing, node splits, electronic retrofits and power supply maintenance in new and existing networks.
- Train in troubleshooting network issues that affect performance.
- Train to perform work coax and fiber related outages.
- Train to perform pole transfers, set anchors, and rearrange existing pole attachments to clear power violations.
- Comply with OSHA and industry safety requirements.
- Work in high traffic conditions, setting up signs/cones, controlling and directing traffic.
- Ensure completed work is neat and professional per company guidelines.
- Possess good planning, organization and logical problem‑solving skills.
- Work well in a crew of 3 to 5 people as well as complete individual assignments.
- Be highly motivated and willing to adapt to all types of weather conditions.
- Respond to emergencies when required due to storm damage or disasters causing network outages.
- Perform physical labor, lifting in excess of 75 pounds, in outdoor weather environments.
- Carry 28’ extension ladder and climb to heights above 18’.
- Identify and work in proximity of primary, secondary line voltages and other utility hazards.
- Perform work in utility bucket trucks and aerial lifts on utility pole lines safely.
- Be willing to be trained to climb utility poles when required.
- Work in confined spaces.
- Use and maintain PPE and follow safety procedures.
- Use test equipment, hand tools and motorized equipment.
- Train to perform pole line construction (strand, aerial fiber, coax on existing utility poles).
- Rearrange existing pole attachments to utility company requirements.
- Transport cable reel trailers to job sites via bucket trucks or other vehicles when needed.
- Be on‑call during maintenance windows (12‑6 a.m.) and possible weekend work to maintain project schedules or emergencies.
- Perform construction work such as digging holes to repair cables, placing cable/fiber in trenches, or pulling conduit when required.
- General computer skills.
- Assess all types of job conditions and hazards prior to work.
- Good communication skills.
- Maintain logs, checklists and write daily job reports.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Ability to read blueprints, design prints, SOWs, and product training manuals.
- Pass a pre‑employment background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to work inside maintenance window (12‑6 a.m.) when required.
- Pass E‑verify and job‑specific certifications.
- General broadband or telecommunications knowledge a plus.
Medical benefits after 90 days. Overtime work and on‑call pay are available. Employees can earn vacation pay after 6 months. Starting pay $20‑22 per hour, with potential incentives for weekend or after‑hours activity when projects require. In addition, we offer health benefits, 401k and paid time off.
