Jobsites are located at Jefferson and Tennille, GA.
We are looking for a Mechanical Pipe Layer to work with our Southeast Regional Operations Office. Please submit your application (and resume if available).
Successful candidate will focus on Treatment Plant work and will:
- Dismantle and assemble piping systems, treatment plant equipment, and machines
- Move pipe, equipment, and machines using hoists, dollies, rollers, and hand trucks
- Assemble and install piping systems such as ductile iron, PVC, steel, copper, and black iron
- Install equipment such as pumps, collection mechanisms, generators, tanks, motors, shafting, conveyors, and rail systems
- Set and check anchor bolts, imbeds, and fastening devices before concrete placements
- Other duties as assigned
Safety, quality work, and cost‑effective completion of tasks common to the pipe layer trade for complex projects is emphasized.
Work is to be performed inside & outside.
Must have reliable transportation.
Satisfactory attendance is required.
