Facilities Maintenance Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety rules and LOTO procedures
• Check parts of inventory using MP2
• Perform special projects as requested
• Framing and drywall
• Advanced Electrical
• Use multimeters to test for correct voltage, amp draw or continuity
• Advanced Plumbing
• Use threader to cut and thread pipe for compressed air lines
• Beginner level welding projects
• Drop ceiling installation and repair
• Door and window installation and repair
• Flooring installation and repair
• Concrete patch and repair
• Painting and pressure washing
• Replacing air and water filters
• Assist with Cathode shop Monthly rebuild

Competencies:

• Previous experience reading diagrams and blueprints
• Able to follow directions
• Able to handle responsibility and complete tasks
• Knowledge of how to use a forklift, scissor lift and boom lift
• Excellent time management skills
• Previous experience working with electrical wiring is a plus
• Previous experience in building maintenance is a plus
• Fabrication, carpentry, and plumbing skills are a plus
• Previous plumbing servicing is a plus
• Previous HVAC experience is a plus
• Proficient Painter
• Self-starter, driven, and motivated to want to learn and do more
