The Comtran Group, Inc. is looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Entry level to Experienced). This position reports to the Fleet Manager and will repair various types of vehicles and equipment. If you are mechanically inclined and looking to start a rewarding career, or if you are an experienced technician ready for the next opportunity,

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy construction equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance and service work
• Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components,
• Maintain equipment and fleet vehicles to maximize uptime and safety
• Complete work orders and maintain records
• Work in the shop and occasionally in the field

• Other Heavy Construction Equipment

Entry-Level Candidates

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Must have basic hand tools
• Trade school graduates encouraged to apply
• Valid Driver's License

Experience Mechanics

• 2+ years of heavy equipment, diesel, agricultural, or fleet maintenance experience
• Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and diesel engines
• Ability to diagnose and repair equipment efficiently
• CDL a plus but not required

• $20 to $40+per hour based on experience
