On a day-to-day basis, you will travel to residential properties in Buford and the surrounding areas to complete a variety of small-to-medium home repairs and safety upgrades. You will manage your time efficiently, maintain a clean workspace, and explain your work clearly to customers who appreciate your expertise and presence.
Over time, success in this role means becoming a trusted ally for our clients. You will build lasting relationships, consistently deliver high-quality craftsmanship, and help local seniors safely age in place through thoughtful accessibility modifications and dependable home maintenance.
Daily Responsibilities:- Perform general home repairs and maintenance tasks, including carpentry, drywall patching, painting, and basic plumbing or electrical troubleshooting.
- Install home safety and accessibility upgrades, such as grab bars, handrails, and ramp modifications to assist seniors.
- Assess customer needs on-site, explain repair options clearly, and deliver respectful, empathetic service.
- Represent the company professionally by arriving on time, communicating proactively, and leaving every job site clean and safe.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of paid experience in home repair, residential remodeling, or handyman work.
- Broad, hands-on skills in multiple trades, including carpentry, drywall, basic plumbing, and basic electrical.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation to travel to local job sites.
- Fluency in English and legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, courteous, and respectful approach to customer service.
Qualifications:
- Experience with senior home safety modifications or accessibility upgrades.
- Prior experience working independently in a residential service environment.
