Role Description

This part-time Welder role is an on-site position based in Buford, GA. The Welder will perform welding tasks using various methods, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding, to fabricate, repair, and modify metal components and structures. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, selecting appropriate materials and welding techniques, setting up and maintaining welding equipment, and ensuring welds meet quality and safety standards.

The role involves collaborating with project teams, following established workflows and safety protocols, and assisting with inspections and basic maintenance of metal assemblies.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Welding, including Arc Welding and general welding techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with TIG Welding and MIG Welding for fabrication and repair work.
  • Knowledge of Materials, including properties of metals and appropriate welding applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Understanding of workplace safety standards and proper use of personal protective equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Previous industrial, construction, or fabrication experience is beneficial.
  • Relevant welding certification or technical training is a plus.
