Transportation Logistics Manager
The Transportation Logistics Manager oversees fleet scheduling, transportation planning, compliance, and operational performance to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable service. This role leads logistics staff, manages third‑party hauling partners, and drives continuous improvement across all fleet operations.

- Oversee daily and long‑term scheduling for all company vehicles to maximize utilization and service reliability.
- Coordinate with Fleet Maintenance and Operations leadership to align transportation plans with business needs.
- Use advanced logistics, dispatching, and ticketing software to monitor performance and improve workflows.
- Manage logistics budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Analyze KPIs related to fleet utilization, fuel consumption, third‑party hauling, and operational efficiency.
- Identify cost‑saving opportunities and implement process improvements.
- Present performance insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Ensure full compliance with DOT regulations and transportation safety standards.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, fleet dispatch, or transportation management, including leadership roles.
- At least 2 years of accounting experience with hands‑on use of accounting software.
- Advanced experience with logistics, dispatching, and ticketing systems.
- Proven experience managing third‑party hauling and supporting business development.
- Strong understanding of KPIs, financial metrics, and operational performance analysis.
- In‑depth knowledge of DOT regulations, IFTA reporting, MC150, and UCR requirements.
- Strong leadership, vendor management, organizational, and communication skills.
