Job OverviewOur Distribution Centers are at the core of what we do se teams are responsible for the timely and accurate fulfillment of all customer orders. The team ensures merchandise is properly received, checked for accuracy, put away into the proper locations, orders are picked and properly packaged for shipment, and that trailers are loaded for on‑time delivery. Our Warehouse Generalists and Equipment Operators perform these functions in a safe and efficient manner working together as a team to meet productivity goals.
WhatWe Need From You / Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous cherry picker/forklift or other heavy equipment operation experience is highly preferred
- Ability to perform physical demands of warehouse work that includes walking, standing, and lifting repetitively and working in a non‑climate‑controlled environment typical of a warehouse setting
- Willingness to work assigned schedule based on business needs
Job Responsibilities
- Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as type or product code.
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or convey orders to packing station or shipping department.
- Mark materials with identifying information.
- Demonstrate good customer service skills with both internal and external customers.
- Open boxes, crates, and other containers.
- Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
- Weigh or count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to standards.
- Prepare parcels for mailing or shipping.
- Maintain inventory records.
- May utilize a forklift, cherry picker, or other material handling equipment to perform primary duties of load, unload, put away and picking.
- Mark materials with identifying information.
- Ensure warehouse security during business hours.
- Comply with all applicable policies and procedures.
- May engage in substantial walking, frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling of parts and part containers.
- Due to the non‑climate‑controlled environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions. Conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
- The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and rarely up to 70 and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
- The employee is required to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
May be required to work in extreme inside temperatures, both hot and cold in non‑climate-controlled warehouse.
