DC Forklift Operator - Outbound

Responsibilities

Operate forklift and stock picker to process all outbound orders. Stock rack merchandise and arrange rack surplus from zones, setting down rack surplus to allow order fulfillment. Perform miscellaneous tasks requiring a forklift, replenish outbound totes as needed, and assist with mezzanine zone maintenance. Maintain safety standards during all operations and identify unsafe practices and situations.

Team members with experience may be designated as trainers. As a trainer, take ownership of the DC target training program ensuring all training is conducted according to schedule, complete all documentation, and explain specific job duties and functions to new members or convey any departmental or procedural changes to existing team members.

All other duties as assigned.

• Must work well in a team environment.
• Operating knowledge of forklift and power equipment.
• Working knowledge of parts lines in a warehouse and surplus merchandise locations.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and match numerical and alphabetical characters quickly and accurately.

Desired qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Experience operating various types of power equipment.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
