The PACU/ASU Registered Nurse promotes and restores patients health by completing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for pre- and post-operative patients recovering from general, local, and regional anesthesia based upon age specific and cultural needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates degree from an accredited professional nursing program
• Bachelors degree from an accredited professional nursing program
• Valid AZ state RN License or valid multistate license from a recognized compact state acceptable to AZ
• Advance Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• ASPAN preferred
• APEX training as assigned and completed within 90 days of hire and annually thereafter
• NIH stroke scale completed within 90 days of hire and annually thereafter
• EKG Exam at time of hire
