Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule:

Shift: 06:30 - 15:00. 15 days of on-call each month, usually starting at 17:00.

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room to join our team. The ideal candidate will work in a state-of-the-art facility with a focus on providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to individuals undergoing surgical procedures.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the OR environment.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during surgery.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members.
• Participate in patient assessment and documentation before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active Compact RN license in Arizona.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification;
  Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred but can be obtained on site.
• 1-2 years of experience in an acute care facility, with OR, Endo, Ortho, OB, and GYN experience preferred.
