Hello, I’m Kate, the Nursery Manager at Main Street.

With over 30 years of experience working with children of various ages across different settings, I’m proud to lead a long‑serving, close‑knit team. Together, we have created a very homely and welcoming environment where every child feels valued and supported.

Our gardens are designed to cater to all ages, featuring flower beds, a vegetable patch, and a real shop area—offering hands‑on learning experiences that inspire curiosity and creativity. Inside, our cosy nursery fosters a warm, home‑like atmosphere, with special spaces where siblings and friends can see each other throughout the day.

It’s our collective group of Nurseries that we are happily apart of here at Main Street. Storal stands for high quality outcomes for children and are passionate about Early Years. Bringing your whole self is a must if that’s pink hair, being Neurospicy or having a unique pastime, we encourage it all. Your unique self is what makes our Nursery even better.

As an Apprentice Early Years Educator you will be a key part of keep our children safe, loved and inspired to learn. Key activities include:

• Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily
• Seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions
• Bond with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moment

• Are 16 or over, have a passion for children and an aptitude for learning
• Minimum requirements to apply for this role are English and Maths GCSE grades 2 or E or above OR Functional Skills Level 1 or above.
• are able to commit to a full apprenticeship programme.
• are patient and friendly
