Our client, located in Burbank, is looking for a Senior Property Accountant to join their team. This role is on-site and only local applicants will be considered. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $45 to $48 per year.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for all accounting functions related to commercial real estate properties
Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger
Reconcile monthly bank statements to the general ledger
Record and process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Process cash receipts and prepare bank deposits
Prepare common area maintenance (CAM reconciliations) and real estate tax reconciliations
Monitor daily cash balances, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements/reporting packages
Perform a wide variety of accounting analyses
Analyze various transactions and identify appropriate accounting treatment
Assist with the preparation of annual operating budgets
Assist management with special projects and other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

4+ years property accounting in commercial real estate sector
Experience with MRI, Yardi Voyager, or other real estate accounting software is a plus
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
