The position of Business Development and Administrative Support Specialist combines proactive business development with essential administrative support. The ideal candidate will dedicate time to both telemarketing and deposit growth initiatives and focus on administrative tasks and marketing support for the team manager. This position is designed for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys client interaction and excels at organizational tasks.
WhatWill Be Your Key Accountabilities?
- Conduct outbound telemarketing calls to prospective and existing clients to promote deposit products and services.
- Identify new business opportunities and schedule appointments for relationship managers.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and follow-up actions in CRM systems.
- Prepare and distribute email blasts and other marketing communications.
- Organize and document team meetings, including agendas, minutes, and action items.
- Provide general administrative support to the team manager, including calendar management and reporting.
- Coordinate and support marketing events, including logistics, vendor communication, and assistance.
- Follow all Bank policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations.

- Support a diverse workforce and affirmative action.
- Maintain up to date knowledge and may train others on products, services, departmental systems, and related technology, policies and procedures.
- Bring any suspicious activity to the attention of a supervisor, or the BSA Officer.
- Follow all Bank policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations.
- Understand and adhere to regulatory guidelines including but not limited to FCRA, BSA, GLBA, etc. as the regulations pertain to the employee's job function.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of business development experience, preferably in a banking environment.
- General knowledge and understanding of bank operations, policies and procedures.
- Analytical skills coupled with the ability to think and act independently and creatively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to deal professionally with branch issues, problems, and questions.
- Ability to work independently with limited direction from supervisor.
- Ability to work successfully in a deadline driven environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; good organizational, research and follow-up skills.
- Ability to interact with all levels of clients, staff, and management.
- Strong PC skills, proficient in MS Office, excellent in Excel, CASH Suite
