Personal Injury Case Manager Assistant
Block LLP is seeking a Personal Injury Case Manager Assistant to support our pre-litigation team and help ensure cases move efficiently from intake through settlement. This role is ideal for someone with foundational personal injury experience who is eager to grow their legal career while gaining hands-on experience alongside experienced case managers and attorneys.
The Case Manager Assistant plays an important role in supporting case management operations, client communication, medical record coordination, and case organization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to providing exceptional service while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

- Assist Case Managers with pre-litigation personal injury matters.
- Open and maintain insurance claims under the supervision of Case Managers.
- Request, organize, and track medical records, billing, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain organized case files, records, and correspondence.
- Track treatment status, deadlines, and outstanding case items.
- Assist with demand package preparation, including medical records, billing summaries, and exhibits.
- Communicate with clients regarding treatment updates, documentation requests, and general case status.
- Follow up with medical providers regarding records, bills, and liens.
- Coordinate with insurance adjusters as directed by Case Managers.
- Deliver professional, responsive, and compassionate client service.
- Accurately update case management software and internal tracking systems.
- Ensure files are complete, organized, and compliant with firm procedures.
- Collaborate closely with Case Managers, attorneys, and support staff.
- Assist with special projects and team initiatives as needed.
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency efforts.
