Overview

Role Description

PUBLSH is growing quickly and looking for a Project Manager that has a background in Accounting (A/P & A/R) to keep all of our projects organized and our books accurate. The ideal candidate loves to play video-games and has a good pulse on what’s happening in the industry.

Accounting & Admin: 50% of time

  • Working with the COO and CEO on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables
  • Reconciling of Bank Statements
  • Manage and overseeing of P&L and reconciliations
  • Payroll and reimbursement management through ADP
  • Client Invoicing
  • Paying vendor bills
  • Keeping track of payment status and following up with clients on past due invoices
  • Some interaction with CPA & legal offices
  • Administrative and clerical duties, creating reports, possible travel planning, and maintaining files.
  • Helping organizes clients, notes, MSAs, SOWs, and other types of paperwork
  • Keeping status sheets organized and helping with SLACK and Airtable.
  • Some HR responsibilities including insurance, ADP, 401k etc.
Project Management

50% of time

  • Keep specific tasks delivered on time and within budget.
  • Manage communication between different departments, external and internal teams.
  • Help oversee GTM Plans, tactical execution and deliverables.
  • Help oversee and work with different partners – social, creative, and media.
  • Schedule meetings, take notes, provide follow-ups and help coordinate status updates
Qualifications

This individual’s day consists of juggling multiple tasks at once, all the while maintaining an organized and positive attitude.

  • Candidates must have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience working in accounting and project management.
  • Candidates MUST have a full knowledge of QUICKBOOKS.
  • Candidates must be detail oriented, prepared to roll up their sleeves, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Candidates must be able to multitask.
  • Candidates must have a background in finance. Individuals must be computer literate, proficient with basic Office applications, Google, Microsoft Office, Slack, Airtable.
  • The candidate must be a self-starter, eager to jump in and make a difference with a dynamic organization.
