UX Designer; W2

Responsibilities

• Translate complex business needs and user research insights into wireframes, high fidelity Interactive prototypes and production ready assets.
• Translate company branding into visually compelling, storytelling digital experiences.
• Design layouts, graphics, and visual assets for websites, apps, and other digital platforms.
• Leverage, and contribute to design systems to create native experiences across web and mobile.
• User Research and Design Thinking:
  • Assist in framing research goals and objectives.
  • Conduct user research to uncover unmet needs, pain points and motivations.
  • Ability to identify key patterns and trends from user interviews, feedback and data.
  • Synthesize and present research outputs through thematic insights, user journeys, workflows and similar artifacts.
• Collaboration and Teamwork:
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, design, marketing/comms, branding and development teams to integrate findings into projects.
  • Adaptability to work in diverse team environments and respond to changing project needs.

• Figma – advanced proficiency
• Main tool and environment for design work;
  Will be used for layout, prototyping, and communicating visual intent;
  Designing from and contributing to design libraries and brand guides
• Adobe Creative Suite – advanced proficiency
• (Illustrator, Photoshop)
• You are expected to be able to quickly ramp up on project needs and work independently and without supervision;
  You are comfortable in ambiguous situations where you need to define needs iteratively and continuously and can flex as new information is presented to you.
• Visual Design– shown in Portfolio.
• Engaging design and problem-solving approach;
  Strong artistic fundamentals (color theory, typography, composition, hierarchy), attention to detail, plus technical proficiency in design software, to create clear, functional, and aesthetically pleasing designs

• Strong awareness of global design and cultural trends, with the ability to translate insights into forward-thinking creative work.

• A passion for understanding and advocating for the end user throughout the design process.

• Ability to look beyond individual features to align user experience with long-term business goals, focusing on the "why" and "how" of a product's direction, not just the "what". Ability to see big-picture vision, prioritize efforts, and measure success across the entire user journey.

• Ability to solve for ambiguous design problems, leveraging expert product thinking, interaction design, craft and prototyping – while introducing new patterns and standards when needed.
• Project Management
• Exceptional organizational and project management abilities, with a track record of delivering complex creative projects on time and within budget.
