Responsibilities
- Supervise Production Managers, Production Coordinators, and Schedulers as part of a collaborative dubbing production team.
- Partner with the Director of Operations, Supervising Dubbing Producer, and Technical Manager to establish SOPs and operational best practices.
- Develop production schedules, including delivery timelines and archiving of final assets.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates to production status trackers, including A/V deliverables, ancillary deliverables, and key milestones.
- Revise schedules based on client requests, production needs, established priorities, and staff or equipment availability.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for process and tool improvement initiatives, including the use of emerging technologies such as AI.
- Direct voice talent as needed for special projects and pickups.
- Review produced content for synchronization, quality, and adherence to project requirements.
- Facilitate the smooth operation and coordination of key production components and team members.
- Conduct goal-setting discussions and performance reviews for direct reports.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- 4+ years of experience in dubbing and/or post-production required.
- Minimum 4 days onsite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to remain composed in a fast-paced production environment.
- Knowledge of video and audio codecs, specifications, and formats.
- Ability to create practical, efficient production schedules.
- Understanding of production accounting concepts and conventions.
- Experience with VoiceQ or similar scripting software.
- Proficiency in Pro Tools.
- Experience with Python, JSON, API tools and innovation.
- Fluency in Japanese, Korean, or another language in addition to English.
- Experience with prelay animation, interactive audio, post-production workflows.
Salary: $85,000
