As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored education and support to students with diverse learning needs. Your expertise in special education will help create an inclusive and nurturing environment where every student can thrive.

Must Have M/M or Extensive Support needs Credentials.

• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Implement specialized teaching techniques to address various learning challenges
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to support student progress
• Utilize behavioral management strategies to create a positive learning environment
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Incorporate technology and other resources to enhance learning experiences

• Experience in special education or related fields such as childhood development or behavioral health
• Knowledge of classroom management techniques tailored for students with special needs
• Familiarity with educational approaches like Montessori or working with children with autism
• Understanding of child welfare and the importance of creating a safe and supportive learning environment
• Ability to administer and interpret standardized testing to evaluate student performance
