Mechanical Engineer, Systems Engineer
WET is not a design company. We are a design, engineering, and manufacturing powerhouse that transforms the raw elements of nature into spectacle, emotion, and magic. Our works are not just fountains—they are living, breathing icons that define cities, drive tourism, and mesmerize millions. Precision is not optional. Execution is everything.
We do not mass-produce. We invent, prototype, fabricate, and build things that have never been made before—at the highest level of craftsmanship. And that's where you come in.
WHO YOU AREOur in-house fluids expert capable of designing, calculating, and optimizing fluid systems from first principles to reestablish WET's technical supremacy in water flow mechanics.
WHAT YOU WILL DOOWN the hydraulic performance of every water feature, from initial concept to final commissioning on site.
Lead a world-class engineering team. You will oversee mechanical designers, and R&D specialists in the development of groundbreaking water technologies.
Ensure flawless execution of all fluid systems. When our icons flow, they must perform exactly as modeled, with zero deviation in physics or appearance.
WHAT YOU WILL NOT DOTolerate suboptimal performance or generic, off-the-shelf engineering solutions.
Accept inefficiency in design processes or a lack of rigor in R&D.
Sit back and let others define the future of water spectacle—you are here to set the new global standard.
WHAT YOU BRINGA Master’s or PhD in Mechanical or Civil Engineering with a specialization in fluid mechanics or hydraulics.
10+ years of industry experience leading complex fluid systems design, preferably involving bespoke, high-end installations.
Deep expertise in CFD analysis, transient flow simulation, and physical hydraulic modeling.
Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring senior engineering teams and driving R&D initiatives from concept to production.
Key Focus Areas- Open channel flow, pump design, and laminar/hydraulic modeling
- System-wide mechanical logic for all fountain and water features
- Mentoring younger engineers in core physics and system design
- Working with inventors and creative leads to turn wild ideas into real hydraulics
- Creating WET's next-generation water simulation + prototyping methodology
