Role Overview
The Sr. Network Reliability and Automation Engineer will work with Operations and Engineering Teams to support and strategically improve the network platform, streamlining operation for Leavesden and Burbank Studios. The role evaluates processes, identifies service improvements, and documents them to ensure standards and processes are followed.
Responsibilities- Develop and support WBD network automation and scripting infrastructure 24/7, responding to requests and tickets within SLA.
- Identify new automation capabilities and areas for process improvement in partnership with global network team.
- Prioritize work based on business criticality and handle ad‑hoc tasks as assigned.
- Adhere to the team’s network standards and procedures.
- Maintain positive relationships with user communities, peers, and management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Dev Ops or network automation engineering in enterprise production environment.
- Experience in network engineering, operations, system engineering or similar roles preferred.
- Knowledge of orchestration tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, Arista Cloud Vision, Git Hub Actions) for IaC.
- Python scripting skills (required).
- Experience with HTML, C++ or other programming/web development (preferred).
- Intermediate Linux experience.
- Process oriented, strong execution, multitasking, customer service and communication skills.
- Flexible schedule and willingness to work on‑call rotation for out of hours support.
- Minimal travel anticipated.
- Legal right to work in the United States.
