* Job Summary:

*
* The R&O Mechanical Tech I is responsible for testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying repair and overhaul (R&O) Electro-mechanical components, electro-mechanical assemblies, parts, equipment, and systems by applying principles of mechanical theory, basic electrical skills, engineering mathematics, testing, and physics.

* Essential Functions:

*
* + Read component maintenance manuals, blueprints, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions for assemblingelectro-mechanical units

+ Writetear down reports andaccuratelyrecordtestingdataand inspection

+ Test electro-mechanical units, using standard test equipment, and analyze results to evaluate performance and determine need for adjustment.

Test, and maintainmechanicalcomponents according to engineering instructions, technical manuals, using hand and power tools

+ Perform repairs, maintenance and calibration of electro-mechanical assemblies per the Component Maintenance Manuals

+ Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers and field representatives as necessary to procure replacement parts

+ Practicesafeworkhabitsasestablishedby

OSHAand Crane policy

+ Supports Crane Business System (CBS) initiativesincluding5S,KPI's,Standard Work,Problem Solving, and other initiatives as theyarise

+ Flexible and willing to work overtime if necessary

+ Any other task assigned by supervisor or management

Experience:

Familiarity with product flow through a manufacturing or repair environment;
Working knowledge of computer systems.
