Customer Service Rep
Compensation
Pay Range: $16.90 – $24.90 per hour. Hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses or premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.
Responsibilities- Work with installers and professional customers to develop sales relationships.
- Take customer orders over the phone and online, invoice orders, pick and stage parts for delivery, and route delivery specialists to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
- Ensure delivery vehicles are serviced and maintained according to company standards; complete vehicle inspections on time and enter daily mileage data into fleet management devices.
- Collaborate with Sales Specialists and Territory Sales Managers to provide superior service to professional customers.
- Verify all product and merchandise, including warranty parts and cores, are billed before customers leave the store.
- Ensure customers’ new core and warranty returns are picked up and credited in a timely manner.
- Audit customer returns for warranty abuse, and ensure all returns are tagged and labeled correctly.
- Assist on the front counter, retail counter, and with backroom duties such as auto‑load, returns, and stock as needed.
- Assist with customer labor claims, ensuring they are processed quickly and efficiently.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Strong background in mechanics.
- Above‑average communication skills.
- Hands‑on knowledge of automotive repairs (desired).
- ASE Certification (desired).
- Fluency in multiple languages, with Spanish highly desired.
