The Treasury organization at The Walt Disney Company serves as a strategic financial engine for the entire enterprise. The team manages the Company’s global liquidity, safeguards against financial risk, and ensures Disney has the flexibility to invest, innovate, and grow. Treasury oversees key relationships with financial institutions, leads cash management and foreign‑exchange strategy, drives financing and capital‑raising initiatives, shapes enterprise consumer‑payment capabilities, and stewards the investment of retirement assets that support employees across the company.
As a Manager, Capital Markets, you’ll join the team responsible for stewarding Disney’s capital structure, ensuring the Company maintains the liquidity and financial strength needed to pursue its boldest ambitions.
- Lead enterprise‑wide cash flow forecasting and shares forecasting to support liquidity planning and capital structure decisions.
- Support shareholder return programs by conducting analyses that inform share repurchase and dividend strategies.
- Perform strategic capital planning analysis contributing to long‑term planning around liquidity, leverage, and capital structure optimization.
- Manage key external relationships by building and maintaining relationships with rating agencies and banking partners.
- Participate in capital raising activities – structure and select banking partners for bond issuances by the Company in the debt capital markets.
- Partner across the enterprise by collaborating closely with FP&A, Legal, Controllership, Investor Relations, Corporate Development, and Corporate Strategy.
- Execute short‑term funding and investing – oversee money market fund investments and commercial paper trading activities.
- Lead and develop team members – manage and mentor a team of Analysts and Senior Analysts, ensuring strong performance, growth, and career development.
- At least five years of relevant work experience.
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects/work streams involving multiple stakeholders.
- Solid organizational awareness, strong financial acumen, and technical skills.
- Strong academic track record.
- Experience leading teams.
- Exposure to financial markets.
- Investment banking experience is a plus.
Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred.
CompensationBase salary for this position in Burbank, CA is $139,200 to $170,000 per year. Annual bonus and long‑term incentive units may also be offered, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
