Finance Manager - Community Health

Overview

The Finance Manager supports local ministry/entity leadership teams and may serve on local leadership committees as assigned. Responsible for financial analysis and modeling to evaluate the effectiveness of new programs and to propose recommendations for achieving financial goals and budgetary targets. Provides financial analysis for strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting, and develops analytical reports to assist in enhancing process improvements and increasing efficiencies.

May also serve as a resource to clinical service line leaders. Other responsibilities may include development of financial plans, budgets, and support for month-end review of financial statements and other assistance as required.

• Perform financial analysis and modeling to evaluate new programs and propose recommendations to achieve financial goals and budget targets.
• Provide financial analysis for strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Develop analytical reports to support process improvements and increased efficiencies.
• Serve as a resource to clinical service line leaders as needed.
• Assist in the development of financial plans and budgets; support month-end review of financial statements and related activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or Finance related field or equivalent education/experience.
• 5 years of finance experience.

  Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Certification or Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
