Position Overview
The Senior Technical Project Manager, Global Platform Operations, will support the onboarding of new clients and their requirements and workflows for our cloud‑based platforms. This includes project management of client onboarding, automation initiatives, workflow optimization and new requirements support. Managing projects maximizes automated content fulfillment, subtitling and dubbing management in our cloud‑based platforms, which includes operational transition & rollout planning, communications planning & execution, stakeholder engagement, and detailed overall project planning.
New system requirements may encompass definition and scoping, workflow standardization, optimization, clarifying requirements, and documenting user acceptance stories while working with our Product team.
The Senior Technical Project Manager will work with internal and external stakeholders, including senior managers and department managers to understand overall business strategy, product features, and requirements, and prioritize & communicate those requirements to the development team.
Main Duties- Project manage client onboarding and initiatives to drive digital supply chain process improvements, deploying scalable, end‑to‑end content fulfillment automation solutions to Deluxe’s localization and fulfillment platforms, including ONE and Sfera.
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of technical projects, applying appropriate project management methodologies, lifecycle frameworks, and tools to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to manage planning, execution, risk, and communication, ensuring transparency, accountability, and successful outcomes.
- Define requirements and scope system functionality to enable end‑to‑end automation.
- Maintain existing customer relationships and escalated needs and functionality requirements.
- Define, prioritize, and clarify requirement user needs; work with others to understand use cases, features, ROI metrics, and overall product goals.
- Create and perform product demos and evangelize across other teams as needed; stay in sync with overall company product strategy.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improved customer satisfaction, process improvements, and system enhancements.
- Make sound judgments when dealing with issues that arise during troubleshooting and determine the appropriate action to take for a given situation; prioritize instantly to prevent missed deadlines.
- Bachelors Degree preferred.
- 5+ years experience driving efficiencies and building processes around automation in support of media distribution, especially related to digital audio, digital video, asset management systems/platforms, multimedia formats, and the creation and delivery of localization assets for subtitling and dubbing.
- Extensive project management experience delivering complex technical initiatives, consistently meeting project objectives, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
- Strong command of project management methodologies, lifecycle phases, and tools, with the ability to adapt approaches to fit technical and business requirements.
- Extensive understanding of content fulfillment, digital workflows, asset and data management systems/platforms.
- Experience exhibiting overall understanding and knowledge of the video post‑production process, media operations, Interoperable Master Format (IMF), Media Asset Management (MAM) and/or digital video deliveries for broadcast & OTT platforms.
- Experience with commercial localization software (e.g., Win Caps, Caption Maker/Mac Caption, Poliscript Create, EZTitles, Swift, Cavena, Canvass, and Fuzion) and commonly used file formats (e.g., EBU STL, DFXP, TTML, SCC, IMSC, PAC, 890, XML) for OTT, broadcast, theatrical, and home entertainment a plus.
- Ability to thoroughly understand complex business and technical issues and influence decision making at all levels of the organization without formal reporting structure authority – strong technical background a plus.
