Overview

We are the Global Marketing Analytics team part of the Paramount Streaming, Data & Insights Group (DIG). DIG connects the Paramount Streaming verticals, creating, building and scaling data infrastructure and products, and turning data into actionable marketing insights. The Senior Analyst supports the Streaming marketing organization by designing experiments, measuring results and improving paid media and Owned & Operated (O&O) channels through model‑based optimization.

Responsibilities
  • Foster data‑informed decision making throughout the Streaming marketing organization.
  • Design, implement and measure incrementality and lift tests, comparing model‑based targeting with platform‑native optimization strategies.
  • Conduct detailed analyses of media performance, identifying where model‑driven optimization outperforms baseline buying and measuring the additional impact.
  • Translate predictive and targeting models into actionable strategies for Digital O&O Promo placements.
  • Define and implement measurement frameworks that connect promo involvement to results such as content starts, session depth, retention and churn reduction.
  • Analyze marketing and attribution data to measure return on marketing investments, optimize budget allocation and provide channel‑partner recommendations using media mix models and experimentation.
  • Identify and explain the limits of personalization and targeting strategies to refine models and promotional tactics.
  • Partner with internal data‑science teams and external partners to increase relevance and actionability of results across media channels.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure dimensions and metrics in data pipelines comply with business workflows for marketing reporting.
  • Support development of tools to audit existing data sets for anomalies and irregularities, leveraging SQL and Google Cloud Service suite.
  • Build and refine data workflows and pipelines for Streaming marketing data to ensure consistency and integrity.
  • Improve marketing data pipelines in partnership with data‑engineering teams.
  • Support ad‑hoc analysis to provide deeper insights on media and promo performance.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree and 3+ years experience in digital marketing, analytics, web analytics or online media.
  • Proficient in SQL, with experience extracting, cleaning and transforming data from databases.
  • Experience or coursework in media measurement across web, native app, and video technologies and standards.
  • Experience designing and analyzing incrementality, lift or A/B tests.
  • Proficiency with data analysis, reporting and visualization tools such as Excel, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Tableau, R or Python.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and clear communication.
Additional Qualifications
  • Strong mathematics and statistics background.
  • Experience working with predictive models and personalization frameworks in marketing.
  • Strong solutions‑oriented and critical‑thinking mindset.
  • Experience using Google Cloud Platform (Big Query).
  • Ability to translate requirements into clear instructions and documentation.
  • Ability to work autonomously to meet deliverables with some oversight.
  • Experience using project‑management tools such as JIRA or Confluence.
Additional Information

Hiring salary range: $98,400 – $147,600 (NYC, CA, CO, WA and other geographies). Starting pay depends on location, market, experience, education and training. This position is bonus eligible and offers medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, tuition assistance and PTO.
