Optomi, in partnership with a leading enterprise technology firm, is looking for a Software Asset Management Analyst to join our client's IT Asset Management Strategy & Transformation team.
Position Summary:The Software Asset Management (SAM) Analyst will play a pivotal role in managing the software asset lifecycle within Service Now SAM, ensuring compliance, data accuracy, and cost optimization. This individual will maintain entitlements, reconcile software inventory, and support audit readiness, partnering closely with ITAM leadership, procurement, vendor management, and technology teams.

- 3-5 years of experience in Software Asset Management or related IT operations roles.
- Hands-on experience with Service Now SAM Pro and familiarity with common software licensing models.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and reporting tools like Power BI.
- Maintain accurate software entitlement records and configure software models in Service Now SAM Pro.
- Monitor and improve the quality of software discovery data and resolve normalization gaps.
- Support internal and vendor-driven software audits and identify compliance risks.
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards on license position, spend, and utilization.
- Administer and configure Service Now SAM Pro workflows to support evolving business needs.
