8+ years
Eligibility: U.S. Citizens and Green Card holders only (ITAR)
About the Role
We need a senior Power BI Developer who has built reporting on top of a manufacturing ERP. Any ERP works — SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Epicor, Infor, Net Suite, or similar. What matters is that you know how manufacturing data behaves and can turn it into models people trust.
This role is about the data model, not just the visuals. You will build the datasets and write the DAX behind them.
What You'll Do
• Build and maintain Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards for operations, supply chain, and finance.
• Design star-schema data models on top of ERP data.
• Write and optimize complex DAX measures.
• Tune models and reports for speed as data volumes grow.
• Write SQL views and Power Query transformations to feed the reporting layer.
• Set up row-level security, refresh schedules, and workspace governance.
• Work directly with plant, ops, and finance teams to define metrics and validate numbers.
What We're Looking For
• 8+ years in BI or analytics, with 4+ years hands-on Power BI.
• Hands-on experience reporting against a manufacturing ERP (any major ERP).
• Expert DAX — you understand filter context and can debug someone else's measures.
• Strong dimensional modeling (Kimball star schemas, grain, relationships).
• Advanced SQL against large transactional tables.
• Power Query / M and Power BI Service administration.
• Familiarity with manufacturing concepts: production orders, BOMs, routings, inventory, WIP, cost.
• Able to work onsite in Burbank five days a week.
Nice to Have
• Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, Verti Paq Analyzer.
• Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, or Azure Data Factory.
• Experience migrating SSRS, Crystal, or Excel reporting into Power BI.
• Aerospace, defense, or discrete manufacturing background.
• PL-300 certification.
