Service Now Experience
- 3-5 years in Service Now CMDB (Configuration Management Database)
- IT Operations Management
- Service Now Discovery capabilities
CMDB and Discovery Expertise
- Understand how to build and manage a CMDB.
- Have hands-on experience with Service Now discovery tools and capabilities.
Asset Management Experience - at least one of:
- Software Asset Management (SAM)
- Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
- While expertise in both is not required, familiarity with one was considered important.
Integration Knowledge
- How integrations function within Service Now.
- Maintenance and management of those integrations.
- Kenny stated that some functional knowledge can be taught, but foundational understanding is necessary.
