Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Trial Attorney to join our prestigious law firm. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in First Chair roles, extensive experience in Litigation and Civil Litigation, and the ability to lead complex cases from inception to resolution. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned legal professional to take on challenging cases, mentor junior attorneys, and contribute to the firm's continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as First Chair in high-stakes trials and complex litigation matters
  • Develop and implement comprehensive case strategies
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
  • Prepare and argue motions in state and federal courts
  • Manage all aspects of discovery, including document review, depositions, and expert witness preparation
  • Negotiate settlements and plea agreements
  • Provide expert legal advice to clients
  • Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and support staff
  • Collaborate with other practice groups within the firm
  • Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends
  • Contribute to business development efforts and client relationship management
  • Participate in firm committees and initiatives
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in good standing with the state bar
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on civil litigation
  • Extensive experience serving as First Chair in complex trials
  • Strong track record of successful case outcomes
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software
