* * The Los Angeles Equestrian Center is seeking dependable and flexible

General Laborers to support our Private Events Department in a variety of roles. General Laborers will assist with event setup, breakdown, venue cleanliness, parking assistance, and provide hands-on support throughout the event — all while keeping customer service at the forefront of everything they do. This hands-on role is essential to the successful setup, execution, and breakdown of a wide range of events, including weddings, corporate gatherings, equestrian competitions, and private parties.

As a General Laborer, you’ll assist with event setup (tables, chairs, décor, staging), ensure cleanliness and safety of the event areas, and provide general support throughout the event lifecycle. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in contributing to a polished guest experience, and can adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment This position plays a critical part in ensuring each event runs smoothly, whether it’s a wedding, corporate gathering, celebration, or equestrian show.

Ideal candidates are team players who are proactive, adaptable, and take pride in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests. This role requires a can-do attitude and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service, no matter the task.
** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
*** Participate in all aspects of the conversion process in preparation for events. Duties may include setting up and tearing down flooring, portable chairs, operable walls, barricades, staging, tables, other furnishings, and equipment.
* Perform various duties to ensure the day-to-day operations of the facility are met. These include but are not limited to loading/unloading delivery trucks, transporting trash and waste to proper disposal area and replenishing supplies.
* Assist with pre/post event cleaning and janitorial tasks including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, vacuuming, spot cleaning, washing, stripping, carpet cleaning, window washing and waxing.
* Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as painting and patching.
* Report irregularities, discrepancies, damage, and loss of property and safety concerns promptly to supervisor.
* Ability to use machines, supplies and equipment to clean the facility.
* Act as parking attendant during select events that may require paid parking and direct vehicles to designated areas.
