About the Position:
As a shuttle manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the transportation of passengers to and from designated locations in a safe and timely manner. You will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our customers. You will perform various job responsibilities, including those embodied by our company core values as follows:
Accountability- Work with leadership to carry out Company directives and incentives to drive business.
- Analyze information and processes and develop more effective or efficient processes and strategies.
- Generate reports and present information to upper-level managers or other parties.
- Responsible for the hiring, training, coaching and counseling process of team members, to ensure performance standards are met.
- Ensure the safety of passengers and cargo at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and daily activities.
- Work with vendors to ensure that the operations are adequately supplied (uniforms, signage, etc.)
- Safely and responsibly operate shuttle vehicles following all traffic laws and company policies
- Keep track of daily routes and schedules.
- Implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability while maintaining service quality.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth through promotions, pricing strategies, or additional services.
- Analyze financial data and implement strategies to maximize profitability, such as optimizing staffing levels and pricing structures.
- Set and track key performance metrics related to operational efficiency, customer service, and financial performance.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during transit, including vehicle malfunctions or passenger disputes.
- Follow DOT policies and procedures.
- Monitor and manage passenger capacity to optimize profitability.
- Train and motivate staff to provide exceptional customer service.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Regularly assess service quality through feedback mechanisms and take corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure that guests receive exceptional service and address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.
- Assist passengers with disabilities as needed. Operate wheelchair lifts or assist passengers with mobility challenges.
- Go above and beyond to exceed passenger expectations and ensure a positive experience.
- Effectively communicate with passengers, addressing their needs and inquiries with courtesy and professionalism.
- Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient shuttle operation.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or issues promptly to the appropriate authorities and supervisors.
