2nd Shift Quality Inspector

Night Shift Quality Inspector

Position located in Burbank, CA. The role reports to the site’s Quality Manager and is part of the Quality Team during the night shift (4:15pm – 3:00am, Monday‑Friday).

• Provide effective verification of products and certification packages against requirements, and communicate findings associated with the verification process.
• Perform inspection of components and assemblies as part of receiving inspection, machine center, and production assembly.
• Maintain accurate, neat, and complete inspection records.
• Keep work area organized and clean and follow all established safety guidelines.
• Work within a team structure to achieve company and department goals.
• Perform additional duties related to specific area assignments when requested.

• High School Degree or equivalent G.E.D.
• 2 years or more of experience with inspection of mechanical components.
• Capable of utilizing standard inspection tools and equipment, including calipers, micrometers, drop indicators, CMM, and optical systems.
• Ability to operate a CMM and VMM is highly desirable.
• Must be able to read and interpret Geometric Dimension and Tolerance (GD&T).
• Must be able to read and understand military specifications and industry standards.
• Effectively communicate and interact with all levels of management.
• High attention to detail.
• Basic PC fundamentals and knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Night shift hours are 4:15pm – 3:00am, Monday‑Friday. A minimum of ten hours of overtime are available weekly.

Salary range: $58,000 – $68,000 per year, paid at an hourly rate. Salary is determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Night shift also eligible for a 10% premium for hours worked during the night shift.
