- Complete tool, fixture, and material setup on CNC Swiss-style machine (Dual Spindle Dual Turret) and Eurotech Rapido type machines.
- Run first-piece articles to make them ready for inspection.
- Verify parts using precision measuring equipment.
- Change tools and offsets based on cutting conditions.
- Use proper methodology and cutting tools to produce quality parts that adhere to production and quality standards.
- Apply appropriate feed rates, speeds, and cutting parameters for workpiece metals such as aluminum, stainless steel, and Inconel.
- Revise programs as needed based on engineering or production changes.
- Participate in troubleshooting CNC programming and production‑related issues on the shop floor.
- Perform post‑processing of hardware as required.
- Perform other similar or related duties as required.
- Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in CNC operation with setup experience.
- Experience with a dual spindle dual turret lathe or Swiss machine is a plus.
- Some programming software experience is a plus.
- General knowledge of GD&T and inspection tools.
- Minimum high school education or equivalent.
- Machinist trade certification is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communication.
- Experience with precision inspection tooling (calipers, thread gauges, micrometers, bore gauges, air gauges, etc.).
Schedule:
Night Shift, Monday–Friday, 4:30pm – 3:00am.
Compensation:
Salary Range $22.00–$28.00 per hour, with a 10% shift premium and up to 10 hours of overtime available weekly.
