Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ability to operate various types of machines: sizing, planisher and power brakes.
- Operates power brake to form various types of flat metal stock such as banding, making joggles, and angle bends.
- May finish‑form partially formed punch press, hydro press, and drop hammer parts.
- Recognizes improper functioning of press and reports condition to supervisors.
- Assist other operators as needed.
- Performs rework, repair and other associated operations described.
- Ability to troubleshoot.
- Follow all Senior policies and procedure.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Degree or General Education Degree; or 1‑2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Language: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply a general understanding to carry out detailed, written and oral instructions.
- Mathematical Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Other Abilities: Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
- Hand tools, measuring instruments and templates.
- Lubricants, ferrous and non‑ferrous metals and their alloys in the form of flat and shaped parts.
Access to the facility and therefore employment is restricted under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR) to U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents of the United States, and properly licensed foreign persons.
Annual Target Salary = $85,000.00
Monday – Friday, 2nd Shift: 3:30 pm – 2:00 am
