Job Summary
The Fabricator role will assist in bringing creative visions to life through innovative fabrication techniques. The Fabricator will have strong knowledge in woodworking assembly, along with the ability to be a strong team player and ensure accuracy according to blueprint and project specifications. This role will be responsible for working safely and efficiently while maintaining company standards and ensuring the highest quality of fabrication work for our clients.
Job Description- Operate a variety of woodworking and foam sculpting machinery and tools to fabricate cabinetry, millwork, and foam sculptures.
- Glue, fit and clamp parts and sub-assemblies together to form complete unit using clamps or clamping machine.
- Sand and scrape surfaces and joints of articles to prepare for finishing.
- Verify dimensions and product specifications to ensure accuracy and fit.
- Assemble and prep units for finishing with precision and attention to detail.
- Willingness and ability to follow all safety rules and regulations, all work must be done with thinking “Safety First”.
- Ensure that all the required parts for assembly are present when constructing/finishing a project.
- Take part in product development meetings, which includes testing and troubleshooting products for functionality.
- Ensure that quality control standards are met, and all parts are properly fitted, and aligned.
- Report and detail product malfunctions.

Minimum Qualifications- 3-5 years of previous fabrication experience required.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, materials, and technology.
- Proven experience with assembly work, which would include woodworking, carpentry, sculpting and/or finishing.
- Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools including their design, repair and maintenance preferred.
- Experienced reading and understanding blueprints, drawings, and written directions.
- Comfortable operating machinery such as lathes, drill presses, power saws, and mills effectively and safely.
- Outstanding work ethic and attention to detail.
- Proactive self-starter with a positive attitude.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Must be willing and able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for extended periods.
Physical Requirements
- Able to exert force/lift up to 50 pounds at a time, and/or up to 100 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to stand for sustained periods of time.
- Comfortable working within a loud environment, due to noise generated by machinery.
- Must be willing and able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for extended periods.
- Able to work additional hours and weekends as needed.
