Gerhardt Gear Co. Inc. is a manufacturing company specializing in high precision gear components for Aerospace Defense, and Energy industries.
PositionCNC Programmer Lathe and Mills.
ResponsibilitiesCandidate will be tasked with producing CNC programs, machining strategies and set‑up work instructions to machine parts at different stages of production. Development of fixtures and work holding design along with required special tooling as needed.
ScheduleFull‑time position, 4‑day, 40 hours weekly scheduled 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mon. – Thu. Overtime will be available as required.
Qualifications- Minimum 5 years of experience working in a job shop environment programming CNC lathes and mills.
- Proficient programming skills with FANUC and HAAS controls.
- Must be able to excel in a fast‑paced job shop environment producing a very high‑quality level of parts with tolerances of +/-.0005" daily.
- General knowledge of lathes and mills is a requirement in working together with the set‑up personnel while troubleshooting new programs and cutting strategies when necessary.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus but not necessary.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be eligible to legally work in the United States of America.
