Senior Program Manager – Manufacturing Operations & Production

We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead and support high-priority production programs within a manufacturing environment. This is not a new product development or design engineering role. Instead, this position focuses on managing existing production programs, driving schedule recovery efforts, coordinating manufacturing operations, and serving as the primary customer-facing point of contact.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations, production planning, scheduling, and program execution. You'll work cross-functionally with operations, production, planning, quality, supply chain, and leadership teams to ensure customer commitments are met and production goals stay on track.

• Manage customer-facing production programs from execution through delivery
• Develop and drive recovery plans for programs that are behind schedule
• Coordinate activities across manufacturing, operations, quality, planning, scheduling, and supply chain teams
• Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and escalat risks when necessary
• Communicate program status, schedules, and delivery expectations to customers
• Support manufacturing ramp-up activities and capacity planning initiatives
• Track key program metrics and ensure production commitments are achieved
• Lead cross-functional meetings to drive accountability and execution
• Identify root causes of production delays and implement corrective actions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and throughput

• 5+ years of Program Management, Manufacturing Operations, Production Management, or related experience
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong understanding of production scheduling, planning, and execution
• Experience managing customer expectations and providing program updates
• Ability to coordinate multiple functions and priorities simultaneously
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Operations Manager, Production Manager, Production Supervisor, Assembly Supervisor, Planner, Scheduler, Business Unit Manager, or similar leadership background
• Lean Manufacturing experience
• Six Sigma certification or practical application experience
• Quality Engineering exposure or experience
• Aerospace or complex manufacturing experience preferred
