As an OD Grinder Operator, you'll manufacture high-precision components while working with state-of-the-art and manual grinding equipment.
Responsibilities include:
- Operating manual and CNC OD grinding machines
- Performing OD, , cylindrical, centerless, and surface grinding operations
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and work instructions
- Using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, air gauges, profilometers, and laser micrometers
- Making minor machine adjustments and offset corrections
- Performing basic machine setups and preventative maintenance
- Inspecting parts to ensure quality and tight tolerance requirements are met
- Completing inspection and production documentation
- Maintaining a safe and quality-focused work environment
Experience in one or more of the following:
- OD Grinding
- Surface Grinding
- Centerless Grinding
- Cylindrical Grinding
- Manual Grinding Operations
Ability to use precision measuring tools
Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing specifications
Strong attention to detail and quality
PreferredCylindrical grinding experience
CNC grinding experience
GD&T knowledge
Experience working with tight-tolerance machined parts

This is a Permanent position based out of Burbank, CA.
The pay range for this position is $61131.20 - $77563.20/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
