Sewing And Assembly Of Sandbags Associate
Our client in Burbank, CA is looking for Sewing and Assembly of Sandbags Associate.
Someone who can sew sandbags using the Industrial sewing machine.
This person will be cutting material, pinning material to frames, and occasionally sewing items.
There is no heavy lifting required, at most they will lift 35lbs.
It involves using an industrial strength sewing machine to close up two side pockets that contain sealed plastic bags full of silica sand.
The person must be able to do this consistently and have the strength to accomplish the task.
It is a full time job, and while there will be opportunities to work on other assignments in the production department, this is going to be their primary job.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Pay: $18.50-$19.00 per hour (DOE)
