ASAP The nurse will work within an acute care environment. Patient ratio is 1:2. First-timers are accepted. Weekend requirements include every other weekend, with 4 shifts per schedule. On-call duty is not required. The nurse may need to float between like units. Orientation hours required are 40. RTO must be included at time of submission. The facility can call off once every two-week pay period.
The hospital has a total of 392 staffed beds. Daily census may vary. The unit includes a variety of interdisciplinary support services. The nurse will be responsible for antepartum care, circulating, and recovery during high-risk deliveries. The role involves sterile vaginal exams and ensuring patient safety protocols are followed. Flexibility and availability for holiday shifts are expected. Travelers may be required to float between nearby facilities as needed.
