Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Burbank, CA | Acute Care

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30)

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit maintaining a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Float between like units as needed per facility requirements
• Participate in every-other-weekend scheduling, completing 4 shifts per schedule block
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays:
  Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Complete required pre-start and orientation modules prior to beginning assignment
• Document patient care using Mediteach charting system

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission — pending licenses not accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NRP
• Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests at time of submission; post-submission RTO may not be granted
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard traveler rates; candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a lower rate
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years required prior to start

• Experience with Mediteach or similar electronic charting systems
• Flexibility with scheduling, including block schedule availability at manager discretion
• Prior travel nursing experience in Labor and Delivery

• Free on-site parking available at the facility
