Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Burbank, CA | Acute Care Hospital

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | On-Site

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit maintaining a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Document patient care and clinical information using Mediteach charting system
• Float between like units as needed to support staffing requirements
• Participate in every-other-weekend scheduling, completing 4 shifts per schedule
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays:
  Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission — pending licenses not accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, and NRP
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard rates (locals within 50 miles may be considered at a lower rate)
• Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests at time of submission; post-submission RTO requests may not be granted
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

• Prior travel nursing experience in Labor and Delivery
• Familiarity with Mediteach electronic charting
• Demonstrated flexibility with floating to sister or like units

• Free on-site parking available
• First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
