American Traveler is hiring an Outpatient EP RN for an ambulatory cardiology clinic requiring at least 1 year of experience and a CA RN license.

• Ambulatory Cardiology Office supporting the EP Device Division
• Adult cardiac patient population for consults and follow-up visits
• Uses MURJ for remote device reports and alerts
• Supports back office Medical Assistant team with higher-level patient advice requests
• Triages urgent patient symptoms and supervises stress tests
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• No floating between units required
• Charting completed in Epic

• Active CA RN license required, in hand within 2 weeks of applying
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• BLS certification required
• EP Lab experience and device management experience highly preferred
• Experience with Activated Clotting Time (ACT), cardioversion, and radiation/laser safety preferred
• Experience with antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, dobutamine, and emergency medications
• IV therapy skills including starting and maintaining IVs
• Cardiology experience required

• Must not have worked at a Providence facility as a permanent employee within the last 3 months
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility if previously employed there as permanent staff
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Two supervisory references required, covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates accepted, though not required
• Candidates within a 50-mile radius may be accepted at a lower bill rate
