Alameda Surgery Centeris located in Burbank, CA.This facility has 1 OR and 3 procedure rooms. Our state-of-the-art equipment allows surgeons to perform procedures in the specialty areas of Gastroenterology, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology and Podiatry.

We are accredited by Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.

The Registered Nurse Pre Op Post Op provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.

Monday-Friday daytime work schedule

NO call required

NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

Starting Pay Range: $48.00 - $65.00 / per hour, depending on experience

• Current CA Nursing License
• Current CPR, ACLS accredited by AHA
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• 2+ year PACU experience in a hospital setting
• Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, hospital staff, physicians, vendors and the public.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptive to change, creativity and innovative.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understands principles of aseptic technique and their implementation
• Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics
• Excellent teaching skills
• Basic knowledge of Performance Improvement ideology
