About the Role

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will serve as a critical guardian of operational excellence by ensuring our products and processes consistently meet rigorous industry standards. You will leverage your expertise in compliance and audit management to drive continuous improvement, mentor team members on quality protocols, and provide actionable insights that directly impact product integrity.

Responsibilities
  • Design and execute comprehensive audit plans aligned with AS9100 and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Evaluate production workflows to verify conformity in appearance, composition, and technical functionality.
  • Develop and deliver specialized training modules and knowledge assessments to elevate organizational quality awareness.
  • Lead and mentor audit team members to ensure consistent application of quality standards across all departments.
  • Document audit findings, facilitate root‑cause analysis, and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Synthesize complex quality data into clear, strategic reports for senior leadership to drive decision‑making.
  • Interpret complex engineering blueprints, shop travelers, and technical sketches to establish conformity benchmarks.
Qualifications Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Business, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in quality auditing within aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Formal certification as an AS9100 auditor from an accredited regulatory body.
  • Deep proficiency in AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Advanced capability in utilizing quality management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical reasoning and mathematical skills for interpreting technical data and measurements.
Preferred Skills
  • Professional certification from the American Society for Quality (ASQ).
  • Post‑secondary coursework or specialized training in the Aerospace industry.
  • Proven track record in leading cross‑functional teams and managing complex audit schedules.
